About Me
My name is Vera (it really is…). I’m nineteen and live in Northern California. I go to San Francisco State University generally, though will be in Sacramento this Fall since I got better classes. I am a declared Cinema major, though am trying to add on Astronomy as a double major. Since it came up recently, I am a vegetarian - have been for a bit over a decade (since I was about seven or so) - by my own choosing.
My blog (this is my main one) is compiled of everything I like, so though at first glance it seems to be more of a fashion blog, I do post other things (at the moment, I am posting a lot of Harry Potter related things…). If this isn’t to your liking, sorry, but it is my blog, so…yeah. Tough. You know where the unfollow button is.
A few things I like are films, music, art, books, animals, ginger ale (I’m actually drinking it right now), astronomy and cosmology (not to be confused with astrology and cosmetology…), fashion, baking, architecture, wilderness, winter, and my pets. I have six cats (five shelter, one born from a feral we had) and three birds at the moment, though from time to time have fish.
I enjoy reading a great deal; the more easily recognized titles would be Harry Potter, J.R.R. Tolkien’s works, Lewis Carroll’s works, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s works, and J. D. Salinger works.
Some of my favourite films include Catch Me If You Can, 500 Days of Summer, How to Train Your Dragon, Nolan’s Batman verse, basically anything Nolan, really…Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Harry Potter films (my absolute favourites being the first, third, and seventh pt. 1 thus far - though the fourth was my favourite book), Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, any animated Disney film, any Jackass/VivaLaBam/Wildboyz/anything related (don’t judge), Empire of the Sun, all the Beatles films (though I love the sped up shots in A Hard Days Night a great deal), and I know there are others I’m not thinking of.
My music tastes can be sampled if you click the play button above, but they are not limited to that. There isn’t too much I find completely intolerable.
I’ll put in some of my favourite artists later, though when I get to setting up my art blog there will likely be more there if you are all interested.
